We use high quality, USA manufactured materials for all our metal outdoor signs. We offer metal outdoor signs on a variety of metals including aluminum, corrugated aluminum, and bonded aluminum. The corrugated and bonded aluminum are designed for high wind, long-term outdoor use. The thinner pure aluminum signs will work well for a variety of outdoor applications. We do not offer cheap inkjet printed signs that start fading out the day you put them out in the sun. I suggest that metal outdoor signs should be very readable from thirty to one hundred feet depending on their size and how far they will be from the viewer. I generally suggest no more than eight words on an outdoor sign but that’s totally up to you. It’s pointless to have a sign that no one can read.
There is a design charge to set up your signs. It’s based on how much time we put into designing it. If you send your logo or other graphics please follow our Design & Submission Requirements. Be sure your signs agree with your overall marketing plan and business values. Your signs should also agree in basic design with all your other graphics. Sometimes we receive low quality submissions, logos or art from our customers that require time to fix, too. There may be art cleanup charges depending on the quality of the art you send. Our time-based design charges are very reasonable. Once you let us know your needs, we will send you an estimate before we do anything.
