Learn More About Event / Stub Tickets
Hello. I’m David Presnell, the owner of Presnell’s Printing Company. Thank you for stopping by! I’ll try not to keep you too long, but I do want your business and I believe that the team at Presnell's can help you. Event tickets include stub tickets, numbered tickets, show admission tickets, drawing tickets for fundraising. If you already know what you want, just Click Here to get started with your new color event ticket order. If you need to reorder your event tickets (previously printed by us), Click Here. If you would like to learn more about a perfect event ticket for your business, read on down to the bottom. It will only take a couple of minutes. Again, thanks!
Event tickets can be printed on one side or two, and are usually printed on a heavy gloss card stock in full color. The front of the event ticket is where the primary event is indicated with who, what, when, why and where. The back of the ticket, if needed, is usually where details of the event or legal information (the fine print) goes. Event tickets are quite versatile. Events can include a tear-off stub or not, depending on whether you need to give the customer a receipt. Inexpensive tickets for church or civic organization fundraisers can often be printed in black ink on one side to save money, but don’t spend too much for plain printing. Presnell’s Printing Company can design and print a great full color event ticket close to the price of black & white. The design should be attention-getting but not complicated. Do not cram too much information or graphics onto your event ticket. Keep it who, what, when, why, and where. An event ticket may be considered a legal contract by law, so you might want to check with your attorney. Event tickets are usually designed to allow admission to an event or to register you for a drawing.
Presnell’s Printing Company has been creating professional event tickets for our customers for over 17 years. From your ideas, we will graphically design and print the perfect event ticket for you. If you need help with ideas, we can help you with that, too. It’s our job to help you.
You can design your own event tickets in many desktop publishing programs, provided you follow our Design & Submission Requirements. If you would like to let us design it for you, there is a design charge to set up your event ticket. It’s based on how much time we put into designing it. Sometimes we receive low quality submissions, logos or art from our customers that require time to fix, too. Our time-based design charges are very reasonable. Once you let us know your needs, we will send you an estimate before we do anything. When you reorder with no changes, you only pay for printing. That’s right! Our price usually drops when you reorder!
Ok, I hope all that wasn’t too painful. Let’s go over a few more reasons for creating a professional event ticket in the first place.
1. Provides a way for your non-profit to raise money
Selling tickets for your drawing is a popular way to raise money. For example, you might have 1,000 tickets printed by us to help raise money for a church addition. You might have three winning draws for money, say $100, $50, and $25. Your group would sell the tickets typically for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. If all the tickets sold you would receive around $900 at a cost of $175 plus printing. Someone in the group might want to donate items to be given away, raising even more money.
2. Allows a way to admit people to shows, games or other events
Show or game tickets should be difficult to copy or reproduce. We can help you with a design in full color so fake tickets will be hard to pass at your event. Most tickets should be double numbered and have a small tear-off stub with a matching number for your records. The customer would keep the main numbered ticket.
If you are a creative thinker, I’m sure you can come up with all kinds of ways to use event tickets to raise money. An event ticket design should be direct, concise, hard to duplicate and visually appealing. Make your event ticket unique and special.
There’s one more important thing I need to say about event tickets. When you get them in your hands, you and your group should go out and sell them right away. A box of dated event tickets sitting on the shelf will never produce one dollar for you! Make a written plan on how you will sell you event tickets to help raise the money you need.
Tell us what you need. If you have an idea for an event ticket, let us know and we will offer some suggestions for you to think about. If you are ready to order a custom event ticket, Click Here.
